Kevin Garnett traded to Boston Celtics
Ten-time National Basketball Association All-Star Kevin Garnett has reportedly been acquired by The Boston Celtics in a multi-player deal.
Boston sent forwards Al Jefferson and Ryan Gomes; guards Gerald Green and Sebastian Telfair; center Theo Ratliff and two draft picks to Minnesota for Garnett. One pick is Boston’s 2009 first-round selection and the second would be the pick Boston acquired from Minnesota in the Wally Szczerbiak-Ricky Davis trade. Garnett has spent all of his 12 NBA seasons with Minnesota.
