The first public screening of Star Cinema’s movie “Land Down Under” starring Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual will take place not in Manila but in the US.

The original play date of the romantic drama was supposed to be this November, but due to delays, the showing of the movie here in the Philippines has been moved to January 2009. Angel and Piolo will just finish the few remaining scenes before flying to the US to grace the world premiere scheduled in Los Angeles on December 6 and in San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood City) on December 7.

Its cast includes Dimples Romana, Ricky Davao, Erich Gonzales, Nash Aguas, Jeoff Monzon, John Manalo, and AJ Dee. “Land Down Under” is the culminating presentation of Star Cinema in celebration of its 15th anniversary and is directed by Rory Quintos.
