Las Pinas Boys Choir and Kilyawan Boys Choir win golds in 5th World Choir Games

Two boys’ choirs bested peers from more than 30 countries at the 5th World Choir Games in Graz City, Austria, which started last July 9 and will end on July 19.
The Las Piñas Boys’ Choir was declared Champions of Children’s Choirs while the Kilyawan Boys’ Choir of Quezon City got the Choral Acapella Performers of Contemporary Music during the awarding ceremonies of the choral Olympiad. The two groups competed with other choirs from Indonesia, Japan, China, South Africa, Russia, Spain, Germany, United States, and the United Kingdom.
