Pinoy boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is on the cover of the latest Asia edition of Time Magazine making him the second Filipino to grace the said magazine’s cover after former President and democracy icon Cory Aquino (named Woman of the Year by Time magazine in 1986).
Time pays homage to Pacquiao in a five page feature story titled “The Meaning of Manny,” which delves into his humble beginnings, recent ring accomplishments, and more. He is set to fight Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 14 (November 15, Sunday, in Manila).
