Maricar Reyes stars in May Bukas Pa
Actress-model Maricar Reyes bounces back from the Hayden Kho controversy with a special acting project with Santino in “May Bukas Pa.”
She plays the role of Ina, a “taong grasa” with a dark past. Prior to being a homeless and greasy vagrant, she was really a beautiful woman whose heart was broken causing her to lose her sanity.
Maricar made her first public appearance following the video controversy on “ASAP ‘09″ last Sunday, June 20 in a fashion show of sorts as she walked the stage with actor Jason Abalos during Star Magic’s 17th year celebration.
Aside from “May Bukas Pa,” she is also set to star in her first starring role via “Your Song Presents: Gaano Kita Kamahal.”

It was unexpected when I saw her in the trailer of May Bukas Pa but still, I am glad that she made it back to the TV Screen. She is beautiful, respectable and educated. You can see it in her aura. As I’ve watched her video, I noticed that she was deeply in-love and committed with Hayden Kho when she did that. But Hayden was cruel… siguro kinuha nya ang video na ‘yun for personal purposes but unfortunately, nag-leak.
Her silence simply means na hindi sya mabilis magpadikta sa mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya. People might say na duwag sya but it doesn’t really mean na ganun nga. Hindi nya lang kinahiya yung mga bagay in the past dahil choice nya ‘yun. And it doesn’t make any sense… kasi nga nangyari na. Nakita na ng mga tao. The important thing is nakabangon ka amidst all the uncertainties.
May it all be a lesson to each of us.

Kung proud kayo at sinusuportahan nyo si Maricar, go lang. Pero mali na yung nandadawit pa kayo ng pangalan ng iba. Pwede namang hndi na isama yung iba kung wla nmang mgadnang sasabhin diba? Kung makapagsalita naman kayo parang napunta na kayo sa ganung situation. Hindi ako against kay maricar, pero sana igalang nyo naman yung isa. Parehas lang silang biktima. Topic ito tungkol sa new break ni maricar sa showbiz, wag nyo ng dalhin dito yung issue nya kung gusto nyo talagang mka move-on na sya. Wag nyo nang i-compare yung dlawa dahil walang dapat icompare, parehas lang silang may ibubuga. Si hayden nlang pagalitan nyo haha!

Only two types of people think maricar is immoral:
1) virgins — they have no idea that two people who are inlove and decide to make love do a lot of things in the bedroom. anyone who had made love with a loved one can attest that what maricar and hayden did there were normal… and it’s not immoral… their only mistake was that they took a video of the act… but it’s not immoral either… uploading it in the internet was the gravest wrong for which they cannot be blamed.. to all “morally upright virgins”- wait until you fall inlove… you will swallow not just your words…
