Varga is an upcoming comedy-action-fantasy series that will replace Kapitan Boom.
It is topbilled by TV host Mariel Rodriguez. Mars Ravelo created Varga in 1947 during his stint in Bulaklak Magazine. Varga is said to be the first Darna but when Ravelo left Bulaklak and was hired in Ace Publications, he re-created Varga and renamed her Darna. Komiks Presents: Mars Ravelo’s Varga will premiere next month (August).
