19-year-old Filipino Marvin Sonsona (13-0, 12 KO’s) shoots for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) super-flyweight crown Friday night (Saturday morning in the Philippines) as he battles 37-year-old Jose “Carita” Lopez (39-7-2, 32 KO’s) of Puerto Rico at the Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada.

If he wins this fight, he will become the Philippines’ youngest Filipino boxing champion ever at 19. Update: Marvin Sonsona wins the fight via unanimous decision — 114-111, 115-110, and 116-109.
