Michael Jackson is dead at 50, Fans mourn death
King of Pop Michael Jackson has died at age 50 after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to media reports.
He was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Jackson had been busy rehearsing for a high-stakes comeback tour, set to start within weeks in England, with dozens of dates scheduled and tickets selling out quickly.
His death has stunned fans young and old, and messages of grief and appreciation have poured in from his family, close friends in Hollywood, and fans around the globe.
