Migs Zubiri proclaimed as 12th senator

The much-delayed proclamation of the 12th senator finally pushed through Saturday morning, exactly two months after the May 14 mid-term polls were conducted.
Miguel Zubiri who came from a nine-year stint as Bukidnon’s 3rd district representative in the House, was accompanied by his young wife, model Aubrey Tan, his parents, Bukidnon Gov. Joe Zubiri and Viky, and a coterie of supporters and staff members. The proclamation came after Koko Pimentel failed to secure a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the Supreme Court after the High Court voted 7-7 which did not reach the required 8 votes.
