Miss Universe 2009 – ABS-CBN
About 80 candidates will come together in the Bahamas to compete for the title of Miss Universe 2009.
The coronation ceremony will be hosted by Billy Bush and Claudia Jordan. 23-year-old model and flight stewardess Pamela Bianca Manalo, representing the Philippines is vying for the said title. For the third consecutive year, ABS-CBN will air the pageant live on August 24 at 9:30AM. Replays will be aired on Studio 23 on August 25 at 8PM and on ABS-CBN on August 27 at 10PM.

I SO HATE THIS YEAR!!! VENEZUELA?? 2 in a row? oh cmon!! and top 15? NO ASIAN? oh cmon!! MY GAWD!! I so hate the people who chose the TOP 15!!! Bianca Manalo has all the potential on becoming Ms. Universe.. cmon!! and what?! at the very beginning of the pageant its all european!? cmon!! its just shocking that after waiting 1 decade Philippines cant make it to the semi finals.. but Philippines has the most votes in ms photogenic (7 times).. THIS IS BUSINESS!! THIS IS NOT FAIR!! FAVORITISM!! FILIPINOS are thirsty for the crown! this is just my opinion.. dont make it a big deal..

omg! why did ms bianca manalo didnt won that ms universe i thought that thi s year will be very lucky because our contestant was very confident to won the contest im so disappointed even in top 10 she didnt reach ok now na it happen lets just accept the reality .i know thyat our contestant has the all but potential to become ms universe dont you think that its only a business its not fair oh theres tomorrow dont you worry filipinos we will get that crown next time and we will make sure of that!

hahaha ni di nga pumasok sa top 15, wala naman sa channel yan.ewan ko ba sa mga toh, may sinasabi pang mas maganda pag sila nag host ng miss universe ay sus. yun pala ganun din.

Actually di naman ABS-CBN ang nagcover ng Miss Universe 2009, Official Network Partner lang sila. Hook-up lang ito via-satellite through NBC na live na nag-cover nito sa Bahamas. Kaya yung mga nag-eemote diyan, walang kaugnayan ang network sa hindi pagkakapili kay Ms. Philippines sa Top 15. OK!
