23-year-old Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar was crowned Miss World 2009 at the 59th Miss World Final held in South Africa.
Mexico’s Perla Beltran was crowned 1st runner-up while Tatum Keshwar of South Africa placed 2nd runner-up. Rounding up the finalists are Miss France, Miss Columbia, Miss Panama and Miss Canada. Miss India’s Pooja Chopra won the title of “beauty with a purpose” for her charity work.
