MTRCB suspends Wowowee for Juniper Incident

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has ordered the suspension of Wowowee for 7 days 3 days for the “wardrobe malfunction” that happened in one of the dance numbers on the said show.

Eda Nolan more popularly known as Juniper/Junniper together with a co-star was dancing the Macarena when her pink wardrobe slipped, which almost exposed her breast. Meanwhile, Willie made an appeal to the MTRCB this afternoon through Wowowee saying that the 7 day 3 day suspension was too harsh considering that it really wasn’t their fault that it happened.

    we you really watch the dance number, you can tell that her pink wardrope slipping but you cant see anything. she was trying to fix it while dancing so i dont get why the MTRCB will suspend the wowowee. im a eat bulaga solid but i dont think its fair to have thing kind of judgement.. i posted the macarena dance number by eda and see if the MTRCB was right about suspending wowowee…

    Why should the MTRCB suspend wowowee? it was clearly a wardrobe malfunction. hindi naman sinasadya ang nangyari. i think that MTRCB is too harsh on their decision to suspend the show. napahiya na nga si Juniper, sinuspend pa nila.

    why only for one day or three or seven? why don’t Madame la Guardia make it permanent about the “suspension”? obviously, wowowee should not be a noontime show. ka hilera nito ang wowow at iba pang mga sex channels. wowowee, “the noontime bar/club”. Cheap di ba? if wowowee is gonna continue on airing at noon with the kind of dancing in those “damit” na parang wala naman, then its better to move the show in a later hours—ummmmm 11pm? and to luningning, don’t you again dare to say na wala kang pakialam about how “malaswa” your way of dancing! madaming kids na nanonood. kung ganitong show rin lang ang ipinapalabas sa abscbn, para ko na ring pinanood ang mga bata ng pornographic material! so make a MOVE!

    di nman sadya yun ah.. sana kung sinadya yun talagang wowowee di ba.. wag na kayong magsisihan the decision is final pero wala nman kinalaman ang wowowee dun, dapat yung wardrobe di ba? crush ko pa nman si juniper..

    Wowowee dancers were recruited from anywhere, walang pilian baka kung saan saan lang nanggaling, kaya naglalabas ng kung ano ano, baka ilang araw mag hubad na parang showtime beer na lang kulang sa wowowee ayos na, yun ang habol ng mga nanonood mga dancers lang.

    Oh well yun ang sabi nila na masususpend ang wowowee pero hanggang ngaun tuloy tuloy naman ang show nila… GO WOWOWEE!!! kahit anong mangyari no. 1 kayo dito sa America.

    good day, i seldom watch television but last sunday i tuned in to channel 5 wow mali with joey de leon, the host. Im just wondering why the dance showdown of saisy and luningning in wowowee pinaalis ng MTRCB, how come sinayaw naman sa wow mali Aug 29 or 30 (im not familiar with the schedules). ganun po ba talaga ang patakaran ng agencia nyo?

    pls. try to review the show last weekend.

    Madam,

    I would like to make an appeal with you regarding last Nov. 16, 2009 show of Wowowee. There was this segment of Coke wherein the contestants are asked to open a gift or something. There was this gay contestant who won the prize. Willie asked his boyfriend to join them on stage and asked them to kiss twice, the second kiss was really lips to lips. I don’t know why they allow such things, where is our morality. Has it gone wild? I have nothing about gay relationships but please let us be discreet. I have 2 sons, a six and a five. I mean what will my sons think?

    If you suspend Willie or Wowowee becuase of a kiss, then it just goes to show how prejudice you are against gay people. What’s the diffrence between a gay kiss vs. a non gay kiss? What are you telling the people it’s wrong to be gay? how come men and women can kiss but a man and a man can’t kiss on tv? explain before you complain madam.
