MTRCB wants to suspend ABS-CBN’s “Magpasikat”

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) reportedly insisted that ABS-CBN’s “Magpasikat,” the show that temporarily replaced “Showtime” is the same as the latter and thus should also be suspended.
The basis for this was that the hosts and production staff of both shows are the same but ABS-CBN’s lawyer Maxim Uy countered, “Siguro naman ho alam natin na hindi dahil pareho ang mga host at pareho ang production staff, ang ibig sabihin ay pareho na ang programa.” However, the MTRCB clarified that an investigation will be conducted before the suspension order can be issued to “Magpasikat.”
