Nokia N91 cell phone explodes
A woman woke up at about 1 a.m. to the loud explosion apparently of her cell phone while it was charging.
Lilibeth Vasquez-Legasto was sleeping in her room together with her daughter and grandchild when her Nokia N91 exploded while it was charging. Mrs. Legasto claimed that the cellphone and all its accessories are original. A professor from the UP Engineering Department believes that it’s the battery that caused the explosion.

Thanks for posting this. It is a reminder for all Nokia users not to charge their phone beside them while asleep. The explosion of the N-91 was a real scare. Up till now, the incident affects me everytime I remember it. I am still waiting for the formal report promised by Nokia, since they got the burnt phone and battery last July.
