November 29 Holiday – Philippines

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookTweet about this on Twitter

Malacañang has declared November 29, 2010 a non-working holiday in observance of Bonifacio Day.

Bonifacio Day, which is the birthday of the Philippine revolution leader and Katipunan founder Andres Bonifacio actually falls on November 30 but the holiday economics (coined by former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) policy moves it the nearest Monday. So it’s going to be another long weekend.
