Thousands of supporters of winning presidential and vice presidential candidates Senator Noynoy Aquino and Mayor Jojo Binay filled the galleries of the House of Representatives at the Batasan Complex in the scheduled proclamation.
Aquino and Binay emerged winners with 15,208,678 and 14,645,574 votes, respectively. Among those inside were Aquino’s sisters Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel; Aquino’s girlfriend Valenzuela councilor Shalani Soledad; Kris’ husband James Yap; Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim; actor Dingdong Dantes; incoming DSWD secretary Dinky Soliman; Senator-elect Franklin Drilon; among others.
