A one-on-one debate between Nacionalista party standard bearer Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar and Liberal Party standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is now in the works after the latter dared the former to a no-holds barred debate to give voters the opportunity to compare heir platforms.

Villar accepted Aquino’s challenge Tuesday morning, “Name the place, name the time, I will be there,” he said. Meanwhile, the College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) said it is willing to host the debate. CEGP president Vijae Alquisola suggested that among the issues that they should tackle in the said debate are education, employment, equality, empowerment, environment, national patrimony and an end to corruption.
