Greetings of Peace!
Im very glad that you have a program like this especially for us as a OFW.Maam isa po akong Pilipinong takas n nagtatrabaho ngayon dito sa Saudi Arabia,tumakas po ako dahil d po binigay sa amin ng kasama kong Pilipino ang 8 buwan n sweldo namin plus hindi po maganda ang trato nila samin.gusto ko lang pong itanong kung sakaling gusto ko na pong umuwi ano pong kaso ang haharapin namin ng kasama ko?dahil d po kami agad sumuko sa embahada ng Pilipinas,mag 3 taon na po kaming tumakas.
Please give me the answer to my question Maam.

dear maam kara

my son john nino ilagan worked since june 28 2007 in dubai uae after 1year and 10 months working he was datained accusing him briebery by his client an arab cient it was happened apolice officer. my son called me april 5 he was accused and he got him by that said offier and brought him in jail i asked helped from owwa at the same day seeking helped to my son i told them that it wasnt true that he got a certain amount to his client my son said that he was only frame up,and didnt got ant amount of money. maam Kara im begging you to help us in this matter he was almost 6 months in jail but until now nothing happen. maam Kara please do help my son we really seeking helpuntil now nobody can help him. even in dfa we also ask help but until now no development yet. they just tell us we jst wait. his 2 children and her wife need him,his the only one look for their errand for their daily needs, maam please im really looking forward for your kind help maam. thank you so much maam kara for giving us your time to my letter. god bless you and your family.

Sacha… payong kapatid, get yourself a lawyer and file Child Support in Court, that is kung na-recognize ng bf mo ang anak ninyo. I’m not sure, kung makakatulong ang BID and POEA, pero walng mawawala sayo kung ita-try mo… Good luck.

Hmm, to us Filipinos here abroad; specially yung mga laki na dito. We’ve only heard of GMA kailan lang mga 2 years ago, whereas ABS we’ve known since the mid 90s, So now that GMA is available here, let me tell you very FEW people subscribe to it kasi nga we don’t know the stars there and we think their standards are very low. ABS-CBN also has a service for us here called “bigatin” its a card that gives you access to a lot of benefits when attending TFC shows, and lots of discounts in several restaurants, clinics, bars etc. both there and the in the Philippines.

I can speak for every OFW and mga laking-abroad when I say ABS-CBN rules.
