PAL (Philippine Airlines) $98 promo international flights

Philippine Airlines will be having a promo dubbed as “Way to Go” where passengers can avail of round-trip, economy fare tickets for 20 trans-Pacific and regional routes starting at US$98 (excluding taxes).

The promo fare, which excludes government taxes, will be available for sale from June 1 to 5, 2009. The travel period is from September 1 to Dec. 25, 2009 for five trans-Pacific destinations — San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Honolulu and Vancouver. For the regional points, which include Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Saigon, Jakarta, Shanghai, Osaka, Beijing, Fukuoka, Nagoya, as well as Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, the travel priod is from July 1 to Nov. 30, 2009.

    ano ang catch? standing room only? monoblock yung upuan? no food, no drinks, no magazines, no comfort room? no insurance? extra baggage will be charged $100 per pound? overall plus tax pa! malamng pang-lure lang ang $98 na yan.

    kaya dami nauuto ng mga ganyang ads kc pag pnpatalastas yan s tv o pnpkita sa mga billboards, posters, o fliers eh ang liit-liit ng note nila sa baba na nklagay eh “exclusive of tax” or “tax not included” na hindi n nbbasa ng mga tao. pag pareho lng ng size yan s nklagay n US$98 fee eh hndi yan papansinin ng mga tao nuh….
