PCSO’s Power Lotto
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will be launching its “Power Lotto” draw next month (May) where the minimum prize money starts at 50 million pesos.
The Power Lotto will costs 50 pesos per bet that’s why its dubbed as “lotto for the rich.” Bettors will use two panels to place bets. The first panel will have the number 1 to 55 while the second panel will have the numbers 1 to 10. The bettor must be able to correctly guess five numbers from the first panel and one number from the second to win the jackpot prize. The probability of winning in the Power Lotto is 1 out of 34.7 million, which means that it’s more than double the degree of difficulty of the existing Super Lotto 6/49 (1 in 13.9 million). The Power Lotto will be drawn only once a week (Tuesdays).
