Is Edsa Day on Feb 25 will still be declared a holiday? If yes, when it will be celebrated?will it be on its exact date or it will be moved? if yes, when? I hope you will be able to advise the Filipino people ahead of time so that it will be a consideration in scheduling the work expected from us to do on that day.
Thank you, your response is highly appreciated.

There is a need to include Feb. 25 as either regular or non-working holiday. It’s very remarkable in our history and it’s a very good reason to celebrate freedom and democracy.=>

Feb 25 not a holiday
February 19th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
sa mga galit dahil me nagtatanong kung kelan ang mga holidays:
E di pumasok kayo sa opisina…teka ano ba trabaho nyo? Ikaw Icah, rich ka na ba? sa States nga me 1-2 months continues rest every year e…mas masipag tayo kasi konting bakasyon lang atin dahil work tayo to serve our clients. Me bakasyon o wala does not matter sa kasipagan ng tao whatever his nationality is. Kahit anong sikap natin basta me kurakot na di nagtatrabaho, ganun din yun. Hirap sa inyo, reklamo kayo but andito pa kayo sa Pilipinas e… hmm. alis na lang para di na kayo mamroblema no..

FEB. 23 declared holiday for students both private and publis schools all levels
February 20th, 2009 at 8:59 am
Little: kung madali umalis edi sana nakaalis na lahat. disagree ako na mas masipag tayo, we just can’t afford a 1 month continuous rest period that’s why we don’t do that. but i agree that nationality does not play a role on whether a person is lazy or not.
ICAH: lasing ka. get sober and then think things over. the Philippines is not that horrible. but i can understand how you could be so passionately negative. it’s not difficult to be such in this kind of society. pero smile! mag-coke ka or something. nakakapagod ang laging galit.

Sana dagdagan pa ang mga long weekend holiday. kasi thats the only days to have long time to my family and to my son. Because Iam a working mom and we have work until saturday. Its very favorable to me if there is long holiday to our country to have bonding.
We also need a relaxation, to reduce stress so we need also a vacation.
Wish to have long Holidays in Christmas season.

November 1st, 2009 at 10:52 am
hindi ganun babagsak yung economy kasi binabalance din naman ng mga kumpanya yung mga dapat gawin pag may holiday at pag may work. isa pag may holiday tao tapos kailangan matapos yung trabaho, dsi ba over time yun, ayaw niyo nang ganun. saka pag holiday dun lang tau kumikita ng malaki sa mga pumapasok. dont be bitter may mga tao umaasa sa holiday. kung arawan kau make use of the day. be fruitfull. marami pwede gawin.
