Philippine Idol Season 2 on GMA 7
Geraldine Bravo, director of Marketing and Sales for FremantleMedia, which is the “Idol” franchise holder announced that the second season of Philippine Idol will be aired on GMA 7.
The show’s target launch is February 2008 and with this development Philippine Idol will reach a wider audience as that’s the essence of the show. The first season of the reality singing contest was aired by ABC 5 last year.

Wow Philippine Idol sa GMA 7? Cool!!! Request pwedeng si Paolo Bediones ang mag host?…. Buti na lang at hindi sa ABS-CBN napunta….. baka magaya sa show ni Willie na dayaan……….. yucks walang credibility ang Dos pwede ba huling huli na ayaw pa umamin… sabi nga ni Joey EXPLAIN BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN! So mhirap pag sa Dos ang PI di pa nag uumpisa wala ng credibility.

talagnag msamang inpluwensya ang ABS ABN mapamtanda o bata……wala ng alam gawin ang sambayanang pinoy kundi ang mgpauto s mga kalokohan o pkulong walang kabuluhan ng DOS……ultimo mga ama ayaw ng magsitrabaho…..ano bang mgandang nadudulot ng dos….db wala???

for my own opinion… i dont want PI to be aired in GMA7,, but i dont hav d choice… IDOL series yan,, and i need to join.. if it would be in GMA,, san kaya nila istage ang show??? sa masikip na stage ng SOP? or sa plain at walang kabuhaybuhay na stage ng EB? who would be d host??? d ever boring regine again..? and sa lightings ng GMA,, i dont think 8s 4 PI… d ba cnabi b4 na GMA wont franchise foreign canned shows? (cant remember the exact phrase)..
d only thing dat was unannounced during the launch was the date of the auditions.. which will start in cagayan de oro on january 17…

Good News: ni-launch na ng GMA ang pinoy idol noong countdown sa 2008. Ang unang auditions ay sa cagayan de oro sa January 17. meron din sa manila, cebu, davao and other cities pero i-coconfirm kung kailan later on.

I wish the age limit would be beyond 28.. sayang nman yung mga gustong magshare ng talent na hindi nakapagshare nung early 20’s stage ng life nila dahil sa hiya or what have you’s.. After all, American Idol doesn’t have any age limit.. I’m sure na-notice nyo yun during in all their auditions.. Sana give chance to us naman.

Guys.. its okei kahit magkaroon pa ng Phil. idol GMA.. wala naman silang Charisse Pempengco na umaangat na at product ng ABS CBN.. and oo nga, meron na ba nagkaroon ng solo concert sa araneta center ang isang singer na product ng Singing contest sa GMA? wala diba? WALA…. okei lang… sexy naman si Marimar.. :P

hope masala ng husto mga contestants… dahil isasabak yung mananalo sa asian idol… gud thing na napunta gma dahil naiiscreen ng mabuti… teka, banker single kamo? yun ba yung kinakanta sa videoke ng mga tindera sa palengke namin, at yung palaging kinakanta sa terminal ng trycicle sa amin… sinu bang sikat ngayon na original product ng abs na sinasabi mo? talent iho o iha ang tingnan mo!…

have you ever watch Pinoy Idol? I’m really disappointed about the show maybe because I’m expecting a lot from GMA compared to ABC. But from what I’ve seen it was like a cheaper version of Philippine Idol. It was really boring, poor quality show etc. I don’t know why maybe bec. of the poor and cheap setting of GMA. They are performing in a limited space, audience etc. And also the finalist they are not that good in singing compared to Pinoy Pop Superstar talents. And the judges they don’ take it seriously. If they want to provide a world-class show they must provide a world-class environment. A much grander, world-class stage etc. Despite the fact that they have a lot of budget comparing it to ABC. When I watched Pinoy Idol it was like a season to of PPS. what the hell was that. I think they should take it seriously and make it better so that it will not end-up like that of ABC’s Philippine Idol.
