Everything is all set for this the Miss Universe 2008 pageant, which will be held at the Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa in Vietnam on July 13.

80 candidates have been presented to the press and their most recent outing was the pre-pageant show for the parade of their national costumes. Our very own Jennifer Barrientos wore a terno flushed in pink and gold with butterfly patterns spread all over it. Too bad Jennifer didn’t make the cut for the best in national costume. Meanwhile, a photo posted at a Miss Universe gallery showed Jennifer Barrientos sharing a table with fellow candidates from Germany, Russia, and The Netherlands. In the said photo, the word “Philippines” printed on Jennifer’s sash was misspelled, with two letter Ls instead of just one.
