Philippines gets misspelled on sash of Miss Universe 2008 bet Jennifer Barrientos
Everything is all set for this the Miss Universe 2008 pageant, which will be held at the Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa in Vietnam on July 13.
80 candidates have been presented to the press and their most recent outing was the pre-pageant show for the parade of their national costumes. Our very own Jennifer Barrientos wore a terno flushed in pink and gold with butterfly patterns spread all over it. Too bad Jennifer didn’t make the cut for the best in national costume. Meanwhile, a photo posted at a Miss Universe gallery showed Jennifer Barrientos sharing a table with fellow candidates from Germany, Russia, and The Netherlands. In the said photo, the word “Philippines” printed on Jennifer’s sash was misspelled, with two letter Ls instead of just one.

YEAH… she should not have worn that considering that it is misspelled! Oh..well Binibining Pilipinas winners are know to be dumbed… If Janina San Miguel were in the Miss U, she might even push that Philippines is spelled Filifins.

Loko ka talaga, GPilipino hehe! Pero I agree sana hindi na lang niya sinuot. Alam naman niyang mali na yung spelling. Bakit sinuot pa niya? Even if the Miss U organizers insisted to wear it, she must defend it not to.

Sayang tinanggal this year ang Miss Photogenic Award. Iyon na lang sana ang kayang iuwi ng Philippines. For sure, stage filler na naman ang Miss Philippines at taga palakpak sa mga pumasok sa Top 15.

what do you expect? di kasi nya alam ang tamang spelling ng philippines. product kasi ng gma kaya boba! buti na lang at abs cbn ang nabili ng rights to air this in our country kaya nalaman ang mispelled word. kung sa gma yan di nila mapapansin ang pagkakamali. kapus* kasi!

yes na lang mga kapatid. pressure na sa lola ang pageant dagdag pa ang spelling ng country nya. pero forecast ko violeta naluz naman tayo. sayang lang ang kapamilya coverage. icover na lang ang pag-iri ni angelina jolie!
