Ping Lacson files graft charges against DOJ Chief Raul Gonzalez
Senatorial candidate Ping Lacson filed charges of violation fo the Anti-Graft Law and Corruption of Public Officials against Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales for offering Php10,000 to each barangay chairman in Iloilo City who delivers a 12-0 sweep in favor of the administration’s Team Unity slate.

Lacson added that Gonzalez is setting a bad example for other public officials this election season. Meanwhile, a separate disbarment case was also filed by lawyer Ely Pamatong before the Supreme Court against Gonzalez for his remarks on US Peace Corps volunteer Julia Campbell’s murder.
