Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo play Ninoy and Cory in Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK)

Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo are set to play the roles of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, respectively in a two-part special presentation of ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya or MMK.
Both have yet to discuss the project with the Aquino family and are relying on the script and other research materials given to them. “Sa ngayon I rely so much on readings, ‘yung mga books nila, other write ups, videos. Pinanood ko rin ‘yung speech ni Tita Cory sa US Congress.” said Bea. “We have to get all the materials kasi. Research articles, videos, kailangan kong pag-aralan ng paulit ulit ‘yun” added Piolo.
