PRC cancels teachers’ board exam (LET 2009) in Metro Manila
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has cancelled the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) scheduled on Sunday, September 27, 2009 in testing centers in Metro Manila due to heavy flooding brought by typhoon “Ondoy.”
Teachers’ board exam will still push through in testing centers in Batanes, Angeles City in Pampanga, Baguio City, Tuguegarao City in Cagayan, Lucena City in Quezon, Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao. Exam takers from Metro Manila are advised to wait for the new schedule from the PRC.

good morning guyz,, i just went to the testing center here in TACLOBAN city and exam for teacher was cancelled due to the typhoon that hits in LUZON REGION
is it true that exam will still push through in visayas part?

here in davao… the exam was cancelled too… it was too late for us to know about the announcement… we were already in the resting center, a bit nervous, had the proper attire and the cheerful spirit… some test takers here in davao which came from remote areas were disappointed because the PRC wasn’t able to announced the cancellation before hand… according to them, they wasted money in transportation and 2-day hotel accommodation just to prepare themselves in the said examination… while others feel wasted, most burst out in joy especially those who needs more time in the preparation…

hi to all, wawa ang mga kasama ko n kukuha ng test yesterday kasi ang tagal nilang naghintay sa barko, imagine from 8 am saturday stranded sila sa pier at ang alis p ng barko ehhh 1am sunday.. kawawa naman dapat nasabihan ang mga provinces kung hindi matutuloy ang exam.. laging late ang desisyon… mabuti n lng at pasado nko dyan… ngayon hindi nila alam kung kelan uli ang resume ng exam… sayang lang ang pamasahe nila… alam nyo bang nalaman lng nila na cancel ang exam ng nasa testing center n sila… so sad and very disappointed sila…

In the news,LET was cancelled only in Metro Manila.Teacher’s board exams push through in the Visayas and Mindanao and other areas not affected by Ondoy.We were so confused yesterday morning about the annoucement because as we arrived in one of the testing centers here in Cebu, they posted that PRC postponed LET.

guyz, we had the same experience, here in Visayas the LET was also cancelled.. The day before, we full ourselves with delicious foods ,good rest, and of course the spirit from above only 2 find out that the exam was cancelled..huhuhuhu.. our mind-set was distracted.. but its okey we have to be considerate.. its not easy to be in the middle of heavy rains were no where to go..lets just pray for them.

although it’s very disappointed, it’s indeed benefited due to the provided time for the examinees to review hard for the rest of time!!! Mas maganda panga kc na nabigyan tayo ng oras to study and review intensely!!! hehehehe!!! It seems exam will be on October 4, 2009 Sunday…. or next Sunday depend to the situation in Manila to have a rooms for the examinees!!! Good Luck!!!

we are very disaponted nang makansel ang exam ng let we waste our time and effort and most of all money, sna di na nag duwa duwa ang mga taga prc san inanounce agad nila para di na makagasto, but its ok di nman sinasadya ang lahat. same as here in lucena quezon. . we’r so disappointed. a day b4 exam, saturday nkipagsaplaran us sa typhoon although wala n kami masakyan jip kz lubog n katabi bayan. we push thru khit mkisakay sa isang priv8 vehicle n dumadaan coz wer in lower laguna p mang-ga2ling. nlaman p n cancelled ang exam on d day n naron n kmi s testing center or sch assignment. pls be considerate n d lng time en money r waste pati lyf pnagsapalarn, kung na announce lng sna kgad.. so pls.. all we want is to be inform wen is d rescheduling of Let, so that we’ll be perpared in all aspect..including money en ofcourse rself.

kung hindi ninyo kaya mag exam sa Oct.04, u will have the option sa april for free but u must submit ur N.O.A. and file/write another application form.

The LET moved to Oct.04 by the P.R.C. Same school and building assignment would be implemented nationwide. If under exceptional circumstance, school/building assignment will be changed, pls. get in touch with P.R.C. Those who could not take the exams on Sunday may take it April 2009 without paying the examination fee provided that they have to fill up and submit their application together with Notice of Admission in the September 2009 exam.

Ang hirap kaya ng board exam, ang prof ed. medyo madali lng kasi ung mga Question mga common sense ang karamihan at halos expected u na yung lalabas under fascilitating, social dimension, educ. tech etc., pero ung gen ed un medyo mahirap, lalo na ung math, mas lalo ung major namin sa TLE sus poro foods at masonry karamihan at inuulit lang ung question na iba, sana maisip naman ng mga gumagawa ng questioner na basic lng ung tinuturo sa amin, in every major eh ung lumabas puro kalaliman…… gud luck sa lahat.. hi pala sa mga taga CapSU at sa mga tag mater carmeli development center, haaaaaaay sana mkapasa tayong lahat na mga deserving….. just pray

yup common sense nga pero pano ka mkapili ng tamang sagot e halos lahat nman pwede tsaka ano b nman un meron pang I only, I and II, III only….. oo nga ang lalalim nung mga questions sa TLE anong malay q b dun sa mga computations about bricks and others?jeje

Hi guys,.. for me medyo mhirap gen. ed though basic ang math xa nagpahirap satin.. ay skin pla kc, hirap ako sa computations. Anyway, ok lang ang prof ed at madali ang majors. Kainis lang, kc i really did take my time answering the major ako nlang ang nhuli sa room namin. ung proctor namin medyo inip na yata xe ang tagal ko. dabog mode na xa.. haynaku.. sana lang wag ganun sir kase mas nakakapressure po gngawa nyo.. xempre pinagiisipan ng examinee yung tanong kya sana lang be patient next time kung sno mang matapat sa inyo…..

elow.just wanna inform u guys na dito sa iloilo 57 of us (Sped Major) examinees was not able to take the exam for our major subjet.d daw napadala ang mga booklet na para sa sped.Whew..april pa daw ulit.so frustrating..pero God has a plan cguro.AJA

Hope that all our sacrifices will be paid-off well… Hope di nagkaroon ng leakage sa exam na to kasi as far as I have observed when the booklet was given and opened in the testing room… the container of the test questions were only made up of cellophane… and it seems so easy to browse the content hence it was transparent… well, di siguro… paranoid lang siguro ako… seems CREDIBLE naman ang R.A. 9293; owning the LET to PRC… good luck!

Meron mang leakage o wala let us just pray na pumasa tayo. As long as we have done our best in an honest way. Anyway, at the end of the day, God’s will, will prevail. Let’s hope we could pass the board for our family, for our dreams and for our future students! God bless us all!!!

i have a feeling… wooohooo….. that november next month will be the posting of the october 4, 2009 LET result… that tonight’s gonna be not the result night… that tonight’s gonna be not the result night… night… night…
wala lang! pag hindi ka papasa this month, mayroon pa naman next year diba? maliban sa gastos, KAHIHIYAN at pagod… ang pagbagsak din sa LET ngayong taon ay nagpapahiwatig pa rin ng PAG-ASA na palaging may bukas pa… try lang nang try at least alam mo na nasasala talaga ang teachers sa Pilipinas… kahit traditional ‘yong examination ng PRC, at least alam mo na magaling ka sa larangan ng THEORiES… hindi naman nasusukat ang pagpasa sa LET sa kalidad mo bilang guro… marahil BOBO ka sa theory ngunit hindi ito nangangahulugan na wala kang lugar sa pagtuturo… marami nga akong kakilala na nag top sa LET pero di naman makapasa sa ACTUAL DEMONSTRATION… ito ang nagpapatunay na hindi nasusukat ang galing mo kung ikaw ay pumasa o hindi sa LET na ito… sana pang UPGRADED na ang PRC sa pina eh mas e-prioritize nila ang PERFORMANCE-BASED examination kaysa sa PEN AND PAPER TEST kasi mas PROGRESIVO ang gurong mas marunong sa GAWA kaysa sa puro DADA…
kung ako ang magiging PRC chairman, 30% pen and paper test at 70% performance-based test for a total of 100% CONGRATULATIONS! ang gagawin kong basihan para sa LET na yan… Agree ba kayo don mga kapatid sa pagtuturo????

siguro naman yung board exam natin eh, norm reference basis, kaya sana makabot tayo sa bracket, kaya kahit nahirapan ako sa major ko at ganun din gen ed ay siguuro naman yung iba nahirapan din, kaya pare-pareho lang tayong lahat maybe kukuha lng ang prc ng 30% passers to all let takers……… aja kaya natin to>>>>>>>>.

kinakabahan na rin ako sa result and at the same time excited, ganito pala ang feelings nang naghihintay sa results…. pray lang tayo kay GOD i know there’s no impossible in him, but of course i do believe na GOD help for those who helped themselves, kaya for those nag review nang mabuti, binigay ang best nila sa board exam CONGRATIOLATIONS……… GOD is with you… at sa mga hindi makakpasa dont lose hope i know naman GOD have planned for us……. at isa pa marami pa namang next time……… again gud luck guys…… AJA!!!

a kitchen during my collgege years…jolibee is number fast food…
Jolibee salamat sa experience at sa knowledge na ibigay mo sa akin…
kaya lalo ko napatunayan na..experience is the best teacher at hindi lahat
sa school matutunan ang lahat ng bagay..kung hindi sa realidad ng buhay…

Wow.. we really really thank God kc three of us who reviewed so hard passed the LET. It is true that if you give your best God will do the rest! But we are not going to attend the oath taking because of our job can’t fix our schedule. We are all excited for the rank that we’ve got. Hopefully PRC will send it as soon as possible. By the way, it was our first time so we really are so happy. God is great!!!
