Presidential Helicopter crashes in Ifugao

Rescuers reportedly found the wreckage of the missing presidential Bell 412 helicopter in a mountain in Tinoc, Ifugao province.
The rescue teams found the helicopter’s wreckage on Mt. Mangingihi, Barangay Eheb Wednesday afternoon. The report said Bell 412 was “totally burned” and did not mention any survivors.
Onboard the said chopper were Press Undersecretary Jose Capadocia, Brig. Gen. Carlos Clet, Undersecretary for Presidential Engagements and Appointments Malou Frostrum, Presidential Management Staff assistant secretary Perlita Bandayanon, Clet’s aide de camp and two pilots.
The chopper went missing after taking off from the Loakan Airport in Baguio City shortly after 4PM Tuesday.
