People who are fighting against corruption should take the sits in the senate like Lacson, Escudero, Cayetano and others. People who are known for protecting the corrupt officials like Pichay, Defensor (the liar), Zubiri and others should take thier final bow and not to be part in legislative system.

Lacson is right there should be 1. Bank account Tranparency sa mga Government officials 2. No more pork barrel.

Di totoo na away lang ang gusto ng opposition. They are more sincere in fighting corruptions than admin themselves.

The administration has done nothing but corruption. They only spend the government’s fund for thier own interest.

The last senate was the worst. Sure, there were intelligent senators among them but what do the numbers show?we have spent a lot for nothing. Investigations in aid of legislation became the fad. Senate president Villar played with both sides just to remain senate president. Many among them grandstanded. The likes of Biazon, Osmena, Lacson, Pimentel, the EStradas, Drilon, even Villar, Enrile, Madrigal did nothing. Every issue was calendared for investigation by concerned committees not because they wer really driven by the desire to find the truth but to gain more points for their own selfish motives. Only the ouster of Arroyo would pacify them. They even connived with the left and some ambitious military personnels to advance their cause but to no avail. They reenacted the budget twice so as to sabotage the programs of the government and thereby infuriate the people more against the government. They tried to portray themselves as champions of the people but in truth they were not. They allied themselves with Erap whom they have ousted because of corruption and inefficiency to further strengthen their opposition to the president and eventually wrest control of the government from her. What do they offer? Nothing but themselves. Hoping that someday the presidency will be theirs. Now more than ever we need a more united and cohesive senate that would place the interest of the nation above self. The situation might not be ideal but it is better to have direction rather than be stalled in the situation we are now in. The economy is promising and we need to be united. Let us achieve this goal this coming election. Vote for candidates who will work for the common good so that we will progress. I don’t think we will need investgations in aid of legislation in the years to come nor impeachment proceedings that will achieve nothing. Team unity may not be the perfect team but an unprincipled opposition will further push our country down.

Dear Dr M Bautista,

I watched your interview in the Morning@ANC with Ricky Carandang today and I must
say I was impressed with your honest answers during the interview. I’ll tell all my
friends, colleagues and relatives to vote for you. I think it is very important that
we have a “voice” to represent us the ordinary juan de la cruz of this country in the
senate. We need public shools to educate our youth, we need public hospitals to treat
our illnesses, we need public law-enforcers to protect us from crime, we need community
healthcare workers to respond to our wellbeing, we need a government to create jobs for
us, we need low cost housing to shelter us, we need residential and nursing homes for
our elderly infirm, we need clean air for our health, we need livelihoods to support
our families, we need churches for our spiritual needs. WE NEED TO BE ALLEVIATED FROM
POVERTY AND HUNGER. Our politicians are spending millions of pesos in their campaigns
to vote for them in the senate, don’t you think this is a waste of money which could be
better spent in alleviating the poor state of “Juan de la Cruz”? GOOD LUCK TO YOU
