Purefoods no. 1 PBA team among women; Ginebra tops among men

A Social Weather Stations (SWS) sports survey conducted from March 30 to April 2 of this year revealed that Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants and Barangay Ginebra Kings are the most popular PBA teams in the country.
The two teams were cited as equally popular among adult Filipinos at 31 percent. Following them were Magnolia (21 percent), Alaska (13 percent), Sta. Lucia (5 percent), Red Bull (4 percent), Talk N’ Text (3 percent), Coca-Cola (1 percent) and Air21 Express(1 percent). The survey also revealed that Ginebra was more popular among men at 39 percent, while Purefoods was more popular among women at 31 percent.
