A Qantas 747 has made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Friday because of a large rupture in the plane’s undercarriage.
The Qantas airplane, flight QF-30, which was carrying 364 passengers, diverted from its original course and landed at the NAIA at 11:20 AM. Passengers reportedly said the plane, which was flying via Hong Kong with about 300 passengers and crew, plunged 20,000 feet (6,010 meters) after a door apparently “popped” midflight. Passengers and crew of the said aircraft have been reportedly taken off the aircraft and have been taken to hotels in Manila.
