   This is WXB102 time once again! This album proved Rivermaya belonged to these group of people they covered. Ethnic Faces, Identity Crisis, Dean’s December, Violent Playground, The Wuds, The Jerks, etc.

   From the opening riffs of Tupperware Party to the “Kalbo” ending of Golden Boy and with the enchanting redition of My Sanctuary… grabe! “Will I ever know….”

   I just hope the kids today also recognize the original singers /bands of this songs. This album has only one original from RIvermaya “Bandila” which also rocks! All tracks are from pinoy bands in the mid to late 80’s, in short my era hehehe.

   I commend Rico Blanco who also grew up as the same era as me (same HIgh School too!) for giving life to these original OPM songs.

   I was singing all the time listening to this album and amazed at myself that I still know the lyrics.

   i like there version of golden boy and my sanctuary..
   but the whole album was very great.. worth buying..

   Best Pinoy album since Eraserheads “Fruitcake”! It’s 1989 all over again. :)

    i bought isang ugat isang dugo album together with their new album “Buhay”. superb talaga galing ng mga renditions nila sa mga songs sayang wala na si rico but nagustuhan ko rin yung bagong album nila.
