Rubilen Amit bags Women’s World 10-Ball Championship 2009

Philippines’ Rubilen Amit beat Taiwanese Shin Min Liu, 10-4 in the finals of the 1st Women’s World 10-Ball championship 2009 at the Skydome Amphitheatre at SM North Edsa in Quezon City.

Amit took home the top prize of $20,000. Among the contenders in one of the biggest women’s sporting event of the year were Great Britain’s Kelly Fisher, Austria’s Jasmin Ouschan, USA’s Jeanette Lee, Guam’s Shanelle Loraine, Korea’s Yu Ram Cha, France’s Latetia Dos Sontos, and Allison Fisher.
