Sakal Sakali Saklolo overtakes Enteng Kabisote 4 in box-office race
MMFF executive committee member, Ric Camaligan provided the box office figues on the 6th day of showing of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2007 entries which says that Star Cinema’s “Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo” overtakes OctoArts’ “Enteng Kabisote 4” in the box-office race.
SSS posted 68.3 Million, Enteng earned 66.6 Million, Shake Rattle and Roll with 41.6 Million, Resiklo got 15.6 Million, Bahay Kubo with 12.6 Million, and Katas ng Saudi with 2.8 Million. As of December 30, the total earnings of the movies is 208 Million.

Thanks to Senator Pimentel dahil prinomote niya ang SSS… good or bad publicity man… publicity pa rin… dahil sa kanya pumila ako sa SSS at hindi ko ine-expect na napaganda nito… kahit KAPUSO ako nagandahan ako sa movie na ito sayang at hndi ko napanood ung KKK baka maganda rin un… Para sa akin eto ang best picture (sana manalo)…
P.S. Sana maka-abot ng 500 million ang kita ng MMFF

because of mr. pimentel, i was able to watch the movie with my whole clan ( as in whole clan because we had a gran re-union). we are kapuso buthe in fairness, the movie is great. I hope GMA-films can do ther same achievement. Sori mr. pimentel, you propel the earning of KKK.

I would like to congratulate ki Juday and Ryan. jan nakikita kung sinong mga artista ang tinatangkilik ng tao, kung sa pelikula humakot ang SSS, what about the rating game sa TV sa mega bat natatalo ang Isabela? i cant understand why people can’t just be happy that the movie they like is on top of the box-office listing and then just wish that the other movies somehow do good also. there’s just too much partisanship in everything here in the philippines.

How would you resolve ABS-CBN over GMA-7’s reign?
With the popularity of GMA-7’s top-rated telefantasyas, asianovelas, decent news programs, and various good quality programs, this TV station leads over rival ABS-CBN in terms of basic program format and trustworthy offering. And because of its popular corporate logo as “kapuso” compared to the past ones indicating that it has self-respect and right conduct–and even perfectly entertaining performance–in good leadership, the public would be trusted mostly.
ABS-CBN would be hardly enough to trust the public again despite of the issues involved such as the infringement of exclusive video of the program “Eye To Eye”, the “Wowowee” Ultra stampede tragedy, and the censorious content like “Pinoy Big Brother”. The court would be found guilty to ABS-CBN so they would threaten to shut down done by the police authority, like those in Martial Law period.
GMA-7 would win the case and would likely to “kill” ABS-CBN because of mismanagement

here in dubai halos naka tfc kami dito because we really feel the love of kapamilya station and its sincerity..ewan ko lang sa iba dito na maliliit ang sahod at madali maloko ng gma baka nabrebrainwash sila ng ptv nila..solid kapamilya dito! sana ipalabas lagi dito ang lahat ng STAR CINEMA movies..bty, maya reforma, good move yan dapat panagutin nyo ang nanddaya ng ratings..

its again the battle royale between the giant star cinema with its enormous resources and the lowly M-ZET films of vic sotto. EK4, despite having a weak storyline and rehashed inanities of its lead star, continues to give a good fight. Definitely, SSS will agian top the box office because abs i much more popular in the visayas and mindanao region. Considering that EK4 banks only on the loyal followers of Vic Sotto, finishing second to the gigantic star cinema is no mean feat.

KAPAMILYA is alwayz no. 1… Ang ratings na ipinapalabsa ng GMA ay puro kasinunga lingan lng… Just compare the shows that they have… High Quality ang nasa ABS-CBN while GMA ay to the lowest level ang quality… Mga KAPAMILYA hindi basihan and tv ratings pra maging No.1 ang isang istasyon kundi ang kalidad na ipinapalabas ng isang istasyon… I dont believe with the rating coz they can be manipulated…
I hope ABS-CBN will continue to make great shows because ABS-CBN RULEZ!!! here in Mindanao….

Bakit kailangan nyong magtalo kung sino ang number 1 eh hindi naman GMA ang nag-produce ng Enteng Kabisote, si Vic at Octoarts. Kasama pa nga ni Vic sa Enteng si Kristine Hermosa na Kapamilya. Kung ako sa inyo i-promote nyo na lang pareho kasi ang objective naman talaga ang MMFF ay pasiglahin ang Industriya. Kaya ‘wag n kau mag-away ha.

you are right anna..dapat healthy competition and most importantly, fair competition, walang nanlalamang, walang dayaan..we at AGB are making the best we can para di masundan ang mga agents namin..ginagawa namin iniiba-iba na namin ang mga offices namin para malinlang ang mga nag-aabang sa labas ng opis naman..Kelan pa kaya mabago ng mga Pilipino ang mentalidad ng pandaraya at panlalamang sa kapwa? Nauunahan na tayo ng Viet Nam according sa survey namin, at may credibility ang ratings namin sa Viet Nam!
