The Spurs won their 4th NBA Title in 9 years with a 83-82 win over the Cavaliers.

Tony Parker was named NBA Finals 2007 MVP.

Spurs guard Manu Ginobili scored 13 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter, including six tension-packed free throws in the last 24 seconds, as San Antonio won the best-of-seven NBA Finals series 4-0.

The Spurs also secured titles in 1999, 2003 and 2005 with forward Tim Duncan and coach Gregg Popovich having been a part of every championship run.

“It was great, probably the best one,” Duncan said.

“The road we took to get here was as tough as we ever had it.”

Cleveland had not led in the second half of any finals game until just 7:55 remained in the fourth quarter of game four, but Duncan and Ginobili answered a 14-0 Cavaliers run by leading a 14-3 response, with the Spurs hanging on at the end.

“It made it sweeter for them to make a run, for us to answer, for us to keep our composure and for us to find a way to win no matter what. It really did,” Duncan said.

“We found a way to get it done when it wasn’t there. That perseverance is what this team is all about.”
