Malacañang declared September 7 and September 21, 2009 as non-working holidays.
September 7 was declared a national day of mourning for the late Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) leader Eraño “Ka Erdie” Manalo who passed away last Monday due to cardiopulmonary arrest while September 21 was declared a non-working holiday to commemorate Eid al-Fitr, the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
