SkyCable is upgrading its SkyBroadband residential broadband Internet service to offer the fastest broadband in the Philippines today.
The company is improving their existing ZPDee broadband service by providing up to 12 mbps download speed, which is four times faster than any residential DSL. This is made possible because SkyBroadband uses coaxial cables with higher bandwidth that can carry more data whereas other DSL services still uses phone lines.
Existing ZPDee customers of the 512 kbps have been upgraded to 1.5 mbps and higher at no additional cost. They are also offering a 15-day free trial of SkyBroadband in select SkyCable service areas, which is initially available in Las Piñas, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Muntinlupa, Pasig, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, San Juan, and Taguig.
