Smart Communications, Inc. just launched Smart Bro SurfTV where you can surf the Internet with your TV sets.
Smart Bro SurfTV is a device that connects through the RCA port of a color TV set. Users can then surf, chat, and email putting Internet right in the homes of Filipino families. According to Smart’s web site. it comes in a boxed set complete with a keyboard, a mouse, a remote control, and a Smart Bro USB stick-type modem with a prepaid SIM, pre-loaded with 100 pesos worth of load. The entire kit costs 4,500 pesos, and Internet access costs 10 pesos for every 30 minutes.
