Smart Philippines now has a Wimax service just like what Globe and Wi-Tribe are offering.
Smart WiMax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) service is initially available in selected sites in NCR, Cebu, Davao, and General Santos. It uses the Motorola CPEi 750 modem.

No. of Hours use : Unlimited
Requirements : Valid ID and Proof of Billing
Total Initial Payment : 999 pesos
Plan 799
Speed : Up to 512kbps
No. of Hours use : Unlimited
Requirements : Valid ID and Proof of Billing
Total Initial Payment : 799 pesos
Note: The lock-in period for the Smart Wimax is reportedly 2 years.
