Smartalk – Smart Unlimited Call Promo
Smart Communications Inc. (SMART) just launched a new service that enables their subscribers (SMART Buddy and SMART Gold) to make unlimited Smart to Smart calls at any time of the day.
The service is called Smartalk and it does not require any changes in SIM or cell phone number. It comes in two variants, the first is “Smartalk 100,” which is 100 pesos for 5 days of unlimited calls and the other one is “Smartalk 500,” which is for 30 days.
For prepaid subscribers, just text Talk100 to 6400 for a Smartalk 100 package and Talk500 to 6400 for a Smartalk 500 package. The payment will be deducted from your prepaid load and you need to have a 1 peso maintaining balance.
For postpaid subscribers, just text Talk500 to 6400 to purchase the package, and the 500-peso charge will be billed on top of your monthly service fee (MSF).
To make a call using the Smartalk unlimited package, you just need to dial *6400 plus the 11-digit subscriber number being called, i.e., *640009181234567.
Smartalk will be offered nationwide from June 26 until September 30, 2009.

pwedeng mag call sa TNT ang smart talk.
sa mga nahihirapan mag register. sa umaga kayo mag register. ang pag register hindi basta basta kakaen ng load nyo. kaya pag 2 times na kaya nag register at wala pa ren daw (eh.. system is busy//loaded/etc) hwag nyo ng kulitan pa ang smart at kinabukasan na kayo mag register.
sa network is busy naman. eh normal lang yan. try nyo ulit tumawag after a few minutes. kase hindi porke malakas ang signal na tatawagan nyo eh pwede na kayong mag unlimited.
pero kung gusto nyo talagang makausap ang tatawagan nyo eh di mag regular call ka. siguradong matatawaga mo yun.

nakaregister ako ngayon..
ang dami kong marereklamo..
- hirap magregister (sa 3rd day na, since first attempt, ako naka.avail)..
- bastos! (toinkz!) — biglang magtatahimik.. then ayun.. wala na!, napuputol agad ang mga usapan (ewan if limit pero max ko ang 15 mins daldalan, mas nakakainis pag hindi pa nag 3 mins or worse, 3 secs, putol na agad)..
- lalong nagpapabadtrip sa napuputol na usapan, ay ang hirap sa pagcontact.. usually, they’ll air this: “all lines are busy now, please try your call later” crap..
- may mga kababalaghang nangyayari (nagalienate ang voice ng kausap ko.. may mas grabeh.. ibang tao na pla kausap ko!)..
- ngaung gabi naman.. tama naman ang number.. nakausap ko pa nga lang ng ilang minuto pa lang ang nkkaraan.. then sa pagtry ko again, biglang: “your number cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial agen”.. ay grabeh!..
- etoh pah.. magrereklamo sana ako sa kanila.. what the heck?!.. di naman mkakonek sa customer care.. ay grabeh tlgah!..

Check this smartalk post, hindi na maganda ang promo nito: Consumer group Consumer Complaints Center, Inc. has filed a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) against Smart Communications, Inc.’s promo Smartalk calling it “deceptive” and “confusing.” Consumer Complaints Center President Vicente F. Gambito said his group has been receiving complaints on the supposed poor service of the unlimited voice call promo. Mr. Gambito claimed the service bogged down during the first weeks of implementation, and that the *6400 service was unavailable for reasons such as the “phone was unattended” or “phone is outside of the coverage area”, but a connection could be made to another Smart number using a regular call without the use of the prefix *6400. Also, attempts to subscribe to Smartalk during the period resulted in receiving delayed messages saying the promo was unavailable at the time the registration was made.

Mahirap tumawag using SMARTALK, sobrang di ka talaga makapasok at masisira lang ang keypad ng mga cell sa kaka redial dahil hindi makapasok, congested na ang line ewan ko lang sa ibang lugar, kasi dito sa Sta.
