Smuggled TV phones seized in Quiapo, Manila

The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) raided a mall whose stalls allegedly sell smuggled mobile television phones in Quiapo, Manila. Agents seized 300 pieces of the mobile phones that also double as portable TV sets.
Some of the TV phone brands seized were the Bai Xing C2000, ZTC 160, Baizhao 8928, Ktech K880, fake Nokia N95 and iPhone. These smuggled TV phones at present are priced between 6,000 to 11,000 pesos. Genuine products, meanwhile, are at least 30,000 pesos each.
