- Highlight the achievements of her administration and the status of the government’s projects and programs since 2001
- Dwell on how her administration has given “too much attention to the overall welfare of the Filipinos”
- BEAT THE ODDS program (acronym for Balance budget, Education for all, Automated elections, Transportation and digital infrastructure, Terminate hostilities with the MILF and NPA, Heal the wounds of EDSA’s I, II and III, Electricity and water for all, Opportunities for livelihood and ten million jobs, Decongestion of Metro Manila, and Develop Subic and Clark)

    guys…nasa ating mga kamay ang future ng Pilipinas. Next year na po ang botohan. Be smart. Isipin ang kabataan, isipin ang mga mahihirap. ‘Wag masilaw sa pera at ‘wag reklamo ng reklamo sa gobyerno kung tayo mismo ay walang ginagawa. Hindi po rally ang tanging solusyon ng problema.     Hello everyone, I would just like to impart my point of view regarding this issue. (admnistration of PGMA) Actually, I don’t see any BIG problem with Gloria Arroyo as the President of this country. So far, she has served to be one of the presidents that have contributed a lot in the development of this country, next to former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos. I am really not into politics here but as a citizen, I can conclude that those people labeled as “anti-PGMA” only sees the things/issues that doesn’t favor to them. What we have to realize is that, the benefit should be for the majority/totality of the citizens of this country not just on your personal reasons that we’re not granted. Let’s face it, we’re not contented whoever is in the present administration. Those politicians who most of the time criticizes their fellow politicians are just wasting their term in the office because they should prioritize their time, efforts and money into projects that would be beneficial to their people and not into their pockets. This is really the truth guys, some, well, a lot say that our government sucks (well, this is the title given to every administration every since.. so whose administration sucks the best huh?!) its really hurting to see US not having to help each other, WE chose not to cooperate because their rules doesn’t apply to us. Where is the real democracy? but i am not referring to all those people in the government service but to those things that they’re doing which are really really UNFAIR to US!.. that’s all.. i hope i have somehow opened your awareness to your reactions with these kind of issues. thanks for reading :)

    One thing for sure, there is no perfect Administration… for me, nobody is deserving to be a leader of this country, but if we give our leaders a chance to lead well and most importantly cooperate with them, i think our country will be a better place to live. Being a president is not easy… and I admire President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo of his constant leadership, she continue to work and move projects especially to the provinces despite of so many noises outside her…
    She might not be perfect, there are good things that happened and there are not, there are people who are benefited under her administration while others are not… but one thing is important, we have seen goodness and not all bad things. It’s impossible to please everybody.
    I hope we all realize that reform starts on each and everyone of us. I’d like the saying that goes, lets think of what we can do for our country not what the country or the Administration can do for us.

Kaya, hintayin nyo nalang ang panahon niyo! Tingnan natin kung kayo na naman ang maging pangulo? Baka mas lalo pang lumabo ang bansa dahil sa kadaldalan ninyo….

    she’s an intelligent lady. its just that marami naiwan na problema sa kanya tas naitaon pa na economic crisis ngaun na halos apektado buong mundo. maayos naman talaga mga programs and platforms niya eh kaso napapahamak siya dahil sa asawa niya at anak niya, kung titignan niyo if hindi asawa niya anak niya ang damay. siguro napapasubo nalang siya. and ayaw ko lang yung CON ASS,kasi oo we need a change sa system of government natin pero there is a high possibility na abusuhin toh ng mga nasa pwesto baka ang number one na iamend nila is the term of office ng mga officials or worst magkaroon na ng prime minister. Pero sa mga umamin na na tatakbo for 2010 presidential elections i dont think na there’s someone who deserves more than she is. kasi mga iba is masyadong ginagamit ang masa for their campaigns to think na kung talagang maraming mga kandidato ang tumutulong sa mahihirap then sana atleast 50% of the unfortunates are lessen na but no.     Hello everyone!I will have just my comment regarding this recent issue,.If we just really think what was hapenning right now,,,maybe we cannot blame it directly to our President..Yeah, it’s true,, we cannot avoid some critics about the government polititians regarding their ways of ruling . Maybe its all our fault why we are facing this kind of challenges in our country…and we cannot solve this by just merely blaming to whoever in the higher position because those people are nothing without our participation.In short ,we are the reason why they achieve that position & thats because of our votes!!!!!.Thus,, instead of blaming,why we will not change!!!its not too late..there’s still a time to vote wisely…. I Know GOD will help us and he will never leave us for He has a good plan for us!!!!God bless u all!!!!…

    President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s last State of the Nation Address (Sona) did not reflect the reality lived by millions of ordinary Filipinos,
    “The state of the nation should also be looked at from the experiences and eyes of the remaining millions who are still suffering from hunger, illiteracy, unemployment, homelessness and sickness. This would balance the picture. They were outside the Sona site,” Arroyo spoke of macro-level “statistics which most do not understand.”
    “But the macro is not always reflective of the micro. Therefore the state of the nation must also consider the millions who make up the micro-level and are missed in the statistics,” The nationwide protest actions and the tight security imposed for the event only “sent a message of fear and insecurity” on the part of the Arroyo administration.
    “The circumstances surrounding the Sona were not very comfortable and encouraging,”
    I doubt about Arroyo’s intention to step down from power in June 2010 as mandated by the Constitution.
    Without categorically stating she had no designs to amend the Constitution and work out a term extension, Arroyo in her speech pointed out that her term “ends next year” and that she had never expressed any desire for a term extension.
    She, however, was silent on allegations that she would run for congressman in her home province of Pampanga, which would give her an opportunity to run for prime minister should her allies succeed to amend the Constitution and reinstate a parliamentary form of government.
    “This hopefully is the last Sona of the present administration,” that the country has been “looking forward to the 2010 election of people with new minds, new hearts, new spirit for a better Philippines.”
    “Whether as projected, the Sona reflected the truth or not, the better thing to do is to compare the Sona with the current situation, perceptions and perspectives of the people from below. From the people we can discover the other side of the state of the nation,”

    For the past 9years since GMA took over the highest position of the land, she made… maybe not a real great progress expected from her but she did her job as a President not many people know. Yes her government is tainted with so much corruption and tried to eliminate and to cut the red tapes in some government agencies but to no avail, we could see petty corrupt local government employees in the streets or in the offices. Yes, in this year’s SONA PGMA addresses all her achievements and for me it is quite an accomplishment for a President, although some of her promises was just remained a promised but if only people reminds her that there are still pending promises she have to fulfill then she might have done it but also there are these swine dressed in dignified manner who capitalized on the sorry situation of the poor. Also, there are these people that makes noise against the President. Well, maybe I am not a politician but I could read, I can sense, I can smell and I can fell and perhaps determined which is which…ahhh, maybe the President is to be blame of all that is happening but didn’t we realize that we, the people, are also partly to blame? Now that the election for 2010 is at the door step, I could only hope that it will not happen to him/her the same way that happened to the present leader of the land.

    If ERAP finished his term, malamang mas lalong bagsak ang ekonomiya, siguradong mas madaming katiwalian kesa kay pgma, si pgma matalino at magaling, nahihigit lang pababa ng B.I. at P.I. nyang asawa(bakit ba di pa natuluyan nung naheart attack?) na si FG. Unlike Gloria, walang alam si ERAP sa economiya, yayaman ang Casino Filipino, Lalaganap ang jueteng at hindi na magsisikap ang mga Pilipino.     Ok guyz… It is not our job to criticize or to leave any comment about our President. At anyways she is our president and still we must respect her, like everybody else. It is after all her job to do things accordingly… Either way our economy is growing, unfortunately not much is to be felt.

Kasi ang lahat ng kahirapan na nakikita natin ngayon sa ating bansa ay dahilan sa makamundong pagnanasa ng bawat isa tungo sa makabagong teknolohiya… Siguro ay tama ka kung ikaw mismo ay may naitutulong na sa ating bansa? Sapagka’t hindi kaya mapaunlad ng sinuman ang ating bansa kung tayo mismo mga Pilipino ay walang pagkakaisa, respeto at sariling disiplina. Kahit sino ang mamumuno sa ating bansa, pag ang sambayanang pilipino ay hindi nakikiisa? talagang walang asenso, lalo na kung tayo ay puro tumitingin sa kamalian ng bawat namumuno. Ang totoo nyan, lahat tayo ay may kasalanan kung bakit naghihirap ang ating bansa. Kaya di dapat husgahan ang sinumang namumuno kundi dapat tayong magkaisang manalangin at kikilos para sa ikabubuti ng ating bayan tulad ng pagsunod sa saligang batas, pagiging maka diyos at makatao, makabayan at higit sa lahat ang pagtulong sa nangangailan ng walang kabayaran.
