Sony Mobile’s newest flagship smartphones, the Xperiaâ„¢ Z and Xperiaâ„¢ ZL will be available in the Philippines during the 1st Quarter of 2013 (probably March).

According to reports, the boxes of the Z and ZL will include a Sony MH-EX300AP headset, charger, micro USB cable for charging, synchronisation and file transfer, and user documentation.

The Z is the thinner than the ZL, at 0.31 and 0.39 inches, respectively. The Z is also waterproof, up to three feet for up to 30 minutes. It has a 2330 mAh battery.
The ZL has a physical camera button and an IR blaster. The latter can be used as a universal remote at home and there are actually apps that uses it. It’has a 2370mAh battery.
As for the price, expect it to be in the 30,000 pesos and up range when it finally becomes available here in the Philippines.
