Suspension of classes in all levels in NCR, Cavite, Rizal, Laguna – Philippines

Classes in all levels in public and private schools in the National Capital Region; Cavite province; Cainta, Rizal; Sta. Rosa, Pami, Mabitac, and Calamba in Laguna would be suspended until Saturday.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo approved the suspension of classes for the rest of the week after more than 170 schools have been converted into temporary evacuation centers for flood victims of typhoon Ondoy. Students are encouraged to help out in relief efforts.
