Talent manager Douglas Quijano found Dead, PAMI mourns death

Veteran talent manager Douglas Quijano was found dead at his rest house in Lucban, Quezon Saturday morning. He was 64.

He was reportedly found by his house help lifeless on the floor of his bedroom after they forced open the door at around 10AM. Reports said that the cause of death could have been stroke or heart attack. Quijano was credited for discovering and building the careers of stars such as Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres Gomez, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana, Joey Marquez, Janice de Belen, Gelli de Belen, Wendell Ramos, John Estrada, Anjo Yllana, Antonio Aquitania, among others.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Artists Managers, Inc. or PAMI is mourning the loss of one of its founding members and considered as first among equals.
