Team Pilipinas loses to Jordan, 84-76
The RP team absorbed an 84-76 beating on Monday in the hands of the Jordanians in the final day of the preliminaries of the FIBA Asia Men’s Championship on Monday.
Team Pilipinas actually commanded the first half of the game, leading 18-13 at the end of the first quarter, 35-33 at the end of the second. But the Jordanians’ steady three-point and free-throw shooting helped them take the lead in the third quarter, 54-51. Our RP team came off a 79-74 win over China on Sunday prior to the loss from Jordanās powerhouse team.
