Texas Instruments to invest $1B in the Philippines
Semi-conductor giant Texas Instruments will build a test and assembly plant at the Clark Freeport Zone to expand its chip assembly operations in the Philippines.

The proposed plant will be among the most environment friendly in the world incorporating environmental and energy-saving features that is also being currently used by the main plant of Texas Instruments in the US. This development is expected to generate at least 3,000 new jobs.
