Top Universities in the Philippines 2011 – QS Rankings (English subject)

Two Philippine universities made it to the Top 50 of the best English-teaching universities in the world based on the list of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University ranked 34th and 35th, respectively among the universities around the world that are teaching the English Language and Literature. De La Salle University (DLSU) landed in the 50-100 bracket while University of Santo Tomas (UST) is in the 101-150 bracket. The rankings were based on indicators like academic peer review, citations per faculty member, number of international students and faculty, and student-faculty ratio.
