The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported that as of 8:25AM, the suspected bomb, a suspicious looking package that was left along EDSA (northbound) Magallanes is cleared.
It was nothing more than a box of kamoteng kahoy or cassava.
Makati police’s Explosives and Ordinance Division operatives rushed to the said area and inspected the package at past 8AM. A bomb-sniffing dog sat near the box, which was an indication of possible explosives.
The incident stalled traffic at the Nichols-South Superhighway area as authorities cordoned off the area.
