Tropical storm “Bebeng” expected to hit RP Wednesday

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that tropical storm Bebeng is expected to enter the country Tuesday which will bring rains in the western region of the country.

According to PAGASA senior weather specialist Robert Sawi, “It’s (Bebeng) weak, but it’s expected to bring more rains in the western section of the country. The least damage it could do is to bring more rains. That’s why we have to prepare for floods,”. Bebeng is the second to hit the country this year. In May, tropical storm “Amang” entered the Philippine area of responsibility but was too far to affect any part of the country.
