Tshomlee Go loses in taekwondo – 2008 Beijing Olympics update

Tshomlee Go of the Philippines, competing in the men’s 58kg taekwondo event, lost to Australian Ryan Carneli at the University of Science and Technology Gymnasium in Beijing Wednesday.
With the loss, our country’s medal hopes now rests on the shoulders of taekwondo jin Toni Rivero and diver Ryan Rexel Fabriga. Rivero is scheduled to fight in the 67 kg class of the taekwondo women’s side while Fabriga is set to compete in the men’s 10-meter platform. Both events are scheduled on Friday.
